As you may already know, in the wake of the pandemic, humans are experiencing a high level of mental health issues.
As Dr. Andrew Huberman said in a recent article, “The pandemic did many things, but it cued people to the fact that they need to take some control over their own mental and physical health.”
Our family has found this to be true, each pursuing different ways of improving our mental health, including walking, weight training, therapy, and independent learning.
Personally, I’m doing all four, but I started with the learning, because I am after all, a book nerd. I bought 101 Ways to Be Less Stressed in the spring of 2021, often referring to it as my “DIY therapy”.
